Circular City Through Educational Circular Economy Methods for Social Enterprises

This project was established with three primary objectives: to equip adult educators with the knowledge and methodologies required for circular economy training; to provide adults at risk of exclusion, particularly those with lower income, limited education, or belonging to ethnic minorities, with essential circular economy knowledge and skills; and to enhance the upskilling, entrepreneurial mindset, and self-confidence of the target group.

To realize these objectives, the project will implement a range of activities, including transnational project meetings, the development of a comprehensive guide focusing on fostering entrepreneurship in the circular economy, the creation of a tailored training format for educators, the organization of local activities involving the target group, the establishment of a hub platform to facilitate idea sharing and networking, the delivery of local online sessions, and active dissemination of project results.

The expected outcomes of the project encompass a comprehensive guide for adult educators, a dedicated training format for circular economy education, a collaborative hub platform, and national conferences for sharing project achievements.

This project is inspired by the goal of increasing resource and energy efficiency in production cycles and minimizing the environmental impact of product use and disposal, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal. Furthermore, the partners’ past work in areas such as environmental protection, climate change, renewable energy, employment and inclusion will serve as a reference for the project. The mission of the project is to equip entrepreneurs in the circular economy sector with the basic tools needed to engage in the circular job market and potentially start their own circular enterprises. The circular economy offers significant opportunities for all stakeholders, benefiting not only our economies but also our societies and the environment.
