Forest Restoration through VET Capacity Building
FORestore

The project FORestore recognises the need for effective regulations to address deforestation with a holistic approach to solutions ensuring that no one is excluded, and contribute to the twin transition. FORestore addresses horizontal priority of environmental sustainability as developing competences in sustainable forest-relevant sectors, thus green sectorial skills strategies and methodologies, as well as new curricula that better meet the needs of individuals.

The project will contribute to the geographic multi-annual indicators for the Subsaharan Africa region, emphasising the need for enhanced international action to tackle deforestation. Also, it will address the real needs of those who relies on healthy forest ecosystems while contributing to broader EU and African policy objectives.
