KA1 Adults – Inclusive Employability

Inclusive Employability – Enhancing Adult Educators’ Competencies in Supporting Adults with Disabilities into Employmentaims to improve the employability of adults with disabilities by enhancing the competences of adult education staff in inclusive teaching, career guidance and the use of assistive technologies. Through mobility activities, including job shadowing and training courses, participants will exchange good practices and acquire innovative methodologies to better support learners with disabilities. The project also seeks to strengthen European cooperation and build long-term partnerships among organizations working in inclusion and adult education. As a result, staff will develop inclusive learning materials and new approaches to facilitate access to the labor market for adults with disabilities.

PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES

  1. Equip three adult education staff members with advanced skills in inclusive teaching methods, career counselling, and assistive resources to improve support for adults with disabilities.  
  2. Strengthen the capacity of European adult educators by exchanging innovative strategies that enhance the employability and workforce integration of adults with disabilities.  
  3. Join an EU network of organizations working in adult education and disability inclusion, fostering long-term collaborations 

APPROACH / METHODOLOGY

The project is based on non-formal education (NFE) methods, including experiential learning, peer learning, and exchange of good practices. Activities such as training courses and job shadowing will support capacity building of adult education staff. The methodology promotes inclusive, learner-centred approaches and practical application of skills, with a focus on improving competences in supporting adults with disabilities and enhancing their access to the labour market.
