Project TOPICs
This project aimed to raise the capacities of the partner organizations to apply creative writing and art to combat online and offline hate speech.
More specifically, the aim was to develop competencies of youth workers and educators to design and deliver activities based on creative writing and art. This led to combating online and offline hate speech, especially targeting young people; to raising competencies of youth workers and educators to apply creative writing and art in the process of raising awareness of online and offline hate speech; to transferring lessons learned from international to national level through capacity-building activities; to raising awareness of online and offline hate speech among involved communities; and to increasing the knowledge of the participants and partners on the Erasmus + Programme and to supporting the development of new project ideas at local, national, and international levels.

Project ACTIVITIES
– Mobility activities were two training courses which took place, one in Albania and one in Greece, and capacity building activities were in all partner countries.
– Capacity building activities had the form of workshops targeting a diverse group of participants coming from the local communities of involved partners.
Project objectives / is supportive of the identified priorities as follows:
a) developed competencies of youth workers and educators to design and deliver activities based on creative writing and art aiming to fight online and offline hate speech, especially targeting young people;
b) raised competencies of youth workers and educators to apply creative writing and art in the process of raising awareness on online and offline hate speech;
c) transferred lessons learned from international to national level through capacity-building activities and raised awareness on online and offline hate speech among involved communities; and
d) increased the knowledge of the participants and partners on the Erasmus + Programme and supported the development of new project ideas at local, national, and international levels.
