PROJECT OVERVIEW
GREENTECH was an Erasmus+ adult education mobility project focused on strengthening the green digital competences of Mine Vaganti NGO staff and supporting the integration of sustainable digital solutions into professional practice. Through training and job-shadowing activities, the project combined capacity building, knowledge transfer and networking. It developed staff competences in green digital technologies, sustainable practices, data security and responsible technology use, while also supporting a structured Train-the-Trainer approach. GREENTECH further strengthened cooperation with European organisations and experts, helping transform informal contacts into more structured partnerships and creating a basis for continued learning, knowledge exchange and environmentally responsible digital innovation within the organisation.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Strengthen the understanding and skills of MVNGO staff in green digital technologies, enabling them to integrate sustainable digital solutions into projects while improving knowledge of good practices, data security, privacy and responsible technology use.
- Develop a comprehensive Train-the-Trainer programme to empower staff as green digital skills trainers, strengthen internal knowledge-transfer capacity and support a sustainable model for continuous staff training.
- Develop a strategic network of green digital technology experts and long-term collaborations to facilitate knowledge transfer, capacity building, access to diverse expertise and continuous adaptation to technological developments.
TARGET GROUPS
- Mine Vaganti NGO staff involved in project design, training and adult education.
- Staff members and trainers developing competences in green digital technologies and sustainable professional practices.
- MVNGO staff not directly participating in mobility activities, benefiting from internal knowledge transfer, shared resources and updated training methodologies.
- Wider communities and stakeholders reached through the promotion of sustainable and environmentally responsible digital practices.
PROJECT RESULTS
- Ten MVNGO staff members participated in mobility activities: five in training activities in Portugal and five in job-shadowing activities in Germany.
- Participants strengthened their green digital competences and their ability to apply sustainable and innovative digital solutions in professional practice.
- Sustainable digital solutions and green practices were increasingly integrated into MVNGO projects, internal procedures and training approaches.
- A structured Train-the-Trainer programme was developed to strengthen staff capacity as green digital skills trainers and support continuous internal knowledge transfer.
- Trainers gained diversified teaching techniques and improved their ability to adapt training to emerging green digital technology trends.
- Participants acted as knowledge-transfer agents, sharing acquired competences and resources with colleagues who had not directly participated in the mobility activities.
- A network of green and digital technology experts was developed to facilitate knowledge exchange, access to diverse expertise and continued organisational learning.
- Cooperation with European partners was strengthened, supporting long-term collaboration and the integration of sustainable digital practices into future projects.
