The “Green Change” project lasted a total of 14 months (from 10 October 2018 to 31 December 2019 ).
Green Change is a project created with the aim of disseminating information on environmental protection in particular among young people and improving the knowledge of the territory of Sardinia among students in the cities of Sassari and Olbia.
Two types of activities were implemented:
-Non-formal education and active citizenship activities that were carried out in the project partner schools (Istituto Tecnico Statale Attilio Deffenu Olbia; Istituto Tecnico Agrario Amsicora Olbia; Scuola Paritaria Pitagora Sassari; Istituto Tecnico Agrario
“Nicolò Pellegrini’ of Sassari);
– beach cleaning activities, particularly in the protected areas in the territories of the schools involved.
The project involved a total of 80 young people from the third and fourth classes of the partner institutions involved.
Non-formal education sessions were carried out in each school, an educational methodology involving group work, simulations, role-plays and workshops.
The young people were stimulated to dialogue, to express their own opinions on various environmental topics and, in a different way, acquired new knowledge and skills.
