The President of Mine Vaganti NGO and Head of MVNGO’s Sport Branch Dr. Roberto Solinas, expert in the fields of Sport, Sport Management and Education Through Sport with a considerable record of implemented Sport projects and initiatives at the local, European and International levels, forms part of the pool of experts of the international Sport think-thank Spolint.

MVNGO entered officially the ISCA (International Sport and Culture Association), a network focused on the promotion of education through sport at global level.

 

Environment: Cop 15 and Consultations launched by DG Environment

Mine Vaganti NGO, always sensitive to environmental issues, was selected among 11 European organizations, public bodies and institutes by the European Commission Environment Directorate (DG ENV), for consultation for writing the Youth for Biodiversity Manifesto to be presented at the next Cop15 (Convention on Biological Diversity).

During the two working days, technical and thematic meetings were held with the various managers of DG Environment.

Furthermore, it was presented the plan of events and actions planned for Green Week 2020, requiring feedback on the topics and methods of dissemination and communication of the planned events.

The event was attended by the Vice President, dr. ssa Maria Grazia Pirina, who currently takes part in thematic online consultation actions on the environment, biodiversity and climate.

MVNGO has started an open dialogue with biologists and environmental activists for the development of new project ideas in line with the priorities set by Europe for 2050.

 

Design and Consulting: H2020 and Evaluation of project proposals

The board of Mine Vaganti NGO is involved in individual consultancy activities in H2020 projects as communication experts.

Some members are accredited as evaluators of centralized actions funded by the European Commission for innovation and research projects.

Among the various projects developed over the years, two project proposals that have received special awards from EU agencies:

– Strategic Partnership Project in adult education “Eurbanities”: elected as best practice by the German National Agency in 2017;

-Cosme “Forever Young” project selected from the 11 European pilot projects to encourage the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector in rural and underdeveloped areas.
