CERV SUSTBridge

Sustaining Civic Bridges Across Generations for Inclusive EU Green Policies

SustiBridge is a citizen-driven European initiative designed to empower people of all ages and backgrounds to co-create sustainable solutions and influence green policies. Rooted in the European Green Deal and aligned with the CERV Programme, it strengthens democratic civic engagement by connecting generations and communities in shaping an inclusive, fair, and environmentally conscious Europe.  Operating across eight countries — Slovenia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, and Belgium — the project mobilizes youth, adults, seniors, migrants, marginalized groups, and persons with disabilities, ensuring that environmental policymaking reflects Europe’s full social diversity. SustiBridge combines digital innovation and community action through participatory workshops, artistic performances, online forums, and local initiatives. These activities promote dialogue, foster intergenerational collaboration, and transform citizens from passive beneficiaries into active co-creators of change.
