Who are we?
“Mine Vaganti NGO” (MVNGO) is a no-profit organisation born in Sardinia in 2009.
“Mine Vaganti” means something dynamic.
For our staff of professionals it means being social entrepreneurs and keeping the passion for social purposes, in a modern concept of NGO.
MVNGO has 4 offices in Sassari, Uri, Olbia and Tempio Pausania covering all the North of Sardinia with other branches in the rest of Italy.
MVNGO had managed a Youth Center in Sassari, the “Centro Santa Caterina” for two years.
MVNGO is an educational training provider at local and European level. MVNGO has a consulting for public and private bodies in order to promote and develop European and trans-continental projects in Youth/Adults/VET/HEI/Sport Sectors.
From the very beginning the aim of the MVNGO was to promote EU “Youth in Action” Programme in Italy (in particular in Sardinia) in order to encourage European mobility among youngsters, and then developed its activities in every sector of Erasmus+ (Youth, Sport, Adults, VET and HEI).
In the 2007/2013 programme period, MVNGO was also very active in Lifelong Learning Programme (Grundtvig, Leonardo and Comenius) now merged with YIA in the new Erasmus+, and in the CIP actions now merged in the new Horizon2020.
MVNGO works now on Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Cosme, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe, EuropeAid, EaSi, the United Nations programmes (UNDEF) and with foundations such as EYF, Fondazione Con il Sud, Valdese, Anna Lindh and Open Society.
MVNGO is one of the 3 NGOs in Italy which manage an Higher Education Consortium, sending 100 students from 9 Italian Universities in Erasmus Trainership every year.
MVNGO is accredited as EVS Hosting, Sending and Coordinating organisation, EVS CODE 2015-1-IT03-KA110-005863.
MVNGO is an official Hosting Organisation in the Erasmus+ Internship, Erasmus Placement, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and Anna Lindh Programme “Dwarkâ”
MVNGO is structured in 5 work departments:
- MVNGO Project & Research HUB
MVNGO Project & Research HUB is a core organizational department in MVNGO’s structure with overarching responsibility for the execution of high-end tasks in project design within Erasmus Plus KA2 strategic cooperation projects (Youth, Adult, VET) and other top-tier programmes external to Erasmus Plus (COSME, Horizon 2020, Growth etc.) and the performance of specialized tasks of research and processing in project initatives coordinated/partnered by MVNGO.
2. MVNGO VET & HEI
MVNGO VET & HEI Department is composed of professionals in the field of Training and European Project Design. Its responsibilities include the hosting and professional development of incoming interns, the development of project proposals/partnerships and the management of international mobility projects targeted at High School students in the frame of Erasmus Plus VET. MVNGO VET & HEI Department coordinates the organization’s activities in the frame of Erasmus Plus Higher Education. MVNGO manages the “National Higher Education Consortium”, composed of 8 Italian Universities. The Consortium will run for the years 2017-2020 offering international mobilities for internships to up to 200 students from partner Universities per year.
3. MVNGO Adult & Training
MVNGO Adult & TrainingSection is specialized in training efforts and project design/coordianation/partnership tasks in Adult education within the Erasmus Plus programme and local initiatives under programmes external to Erasmus Plus. The human resources forming part of the Adult & Training Section encompass professionals in the fields of project design and education tailored to the needs of an Adult audience, including the use of Coaching as a tool for professional and motivational orienteering as well as development.
4. MVNGO Sport Branch
The MVNGO Sport Branch works on projects on Sport and Non Formal Education. MVNGO Sport Branch is presently composed of 5 active members, among whom 2 international professionals. The aim of MVNGO Sport Branch is to support and improve the use of NFE and Sport, in combination, as a tool for education, social inclusion, mutual understanding, entrepreneurial development etc.
5. MVNGO Youth Division
MVNGO Youth Division is in charge of organising, implementing and reporting on Erasmus Plus KA1 Youth and EYF projects, Youth Exchanges and Training Courses with Non Formal Education Methodology.
MVNGO implemented more than 150 projects granted by European programmes.

MVNGO belongs to 3 International Networks:
MVNGO is one of the members of Youth and Environment Europe (YEE). Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is a platform of many European youth organisations that study nature or are active in environmental protection. These member organisations come together from 28 countries. The aim of YEE is to encourage youth to be involved in environmental protection and to provide a platform where these organisations can work together. In the frame of YEE Network, MVNGO promotes and creates several green youth projects (sunny campaign, study session at European Council, training course, youth exchange, EVS and local activities).

- MV International
In 2012, MVNGO founded MV International, our ENGO with 37 branches in 37 European countries (with 8 Associated Members from Asia, Africa and South America); the network works, among other things, on the recognition of Non Formal Education at European level.
MVNGO is self-financed and committed to promote a multicultural and multiracial european society and an active citizenship in social problems like racism, discrimination and unemployment.
