Training Course for adult learners!

We are calling for 5 adult learners from Italy to attend the “Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation via Forest Management” pilot session as part of the CC4Forest project. This 2-day pilot session will take place in October and December, aiming to enhance knowledge and skills in sustainable forest management practices.

About the Project:

“CC4Forest – Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation via Forest Management” is a cooperation partnership in adult education funded by the Erasmus Plus program. The project aims to raise awareness about the role of forest management in climate change mitigation and adaptation among adult learners, staff of adult education organizations, and small business owners. It provides practical guidance and tools for implementing sustainable forest management practices.

Main Objectives of the Training:

• Raise public awareness about the importance of forest management in mitigating climate change and equip participants with knowledge and skills for climate change mitigation and adaptation via sustainable forest management practices.
• Indicate effective learning and test the usability of MOOCs, collecting feedback for improvement and improve the adult education program implementation using feedback.
• Promote collaboration between participants, governments, businesses, and communities, highlighting successful projects.
• Identify and address barriers and challenges in program implementation.
• Increase engagement and sustainable practices in forest management by European companies.

Recognition / Certification of Participation: Yes

Throughout the training, the non-formal education modules developed within the project will be covered.

• Participants: 5 adult learners from Italy
• Possibility of adapted schedule- self-learning path and evaluation

Target Group and Participation Requirements:

• The target groups include adult learners, adult educators and trainers, individual business owners, social entrepreneurs, experts in forestry, climate change, and sustainable development, and forest-dependent people.

• Availability to attend the 2-day online training session or following the individual schedule within a stated time-framework
