Development of mediation skillset for youth workers for migrants \n\n\n\n

The project <\/span><\/span>DEVMIGRA seeks to enhance the abilities of both youth workers and first-generation young migrants who have been granted refugee and asylum status. Youth workers, who are cultural mediators and volunteers working in care facilities and migration centers, will receive support to better assist and integrate young migrants into the social fabric of their host countries. Meanwhile, first-generation young migrants between the ages of 18 and 25 will be given the tools to improve their own skills. The project focuses on young people because they are a vulnerable group when migrating to other countries, as highlighted in the report “Migration and Youth: challenges and opportunities” by the Global Migration Group.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    The primary target group of the project is youth workers working with migrants and the indirect target group is young migrants suffering from social exclusion and fewer opportunities.<\/span><\/p>

    1. To develop specific training contents for youth workers with migrants, to improve their capabilities in NFE methodologies aimed at promoting to value skills and qualifications of the young migrants. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
