\u201c<\/span>Youth<\/span> Development<\/span> through<\/span> Cre-Action<\/span>\u201d (YDCA) <\/span>is<\/span> a <\/span>project<\/span> involving<\/span> 6 <\/span>partner<\/span> organizations<\/span> from<\/span> Europe<\/span> (<\/span>Greece<\/span>, <\/span>Italy<\/span>, <\/span>Spain<\/span>), and North <\/span>Africa<\/span> (<\/span>Morocco<\/span>, <\/span>Algeria<\/span>, <\/span>Egypt<\/span>) YDCA <\/span>aims<\/span> at <\/span>addressing<\/span> unemployment<\/span> affecting<\/span> disadvantaged<\/span> youths<\/span> (NEET <\/span>youngsters<\/span>, <\/span>youths<\/span> from<\/span> poor<\/span> rural <\/span>areas<\/span>, etc.) <\/span>through<\/span> a <\/span>trans-continental<\/span> cooperation<\/span> targeted<\/span> at <\/span>producing<\/span> and <\/span>sharing<\/span> educational<\/span> contents<\/span> and <\/span>formats<\/span> to<\/span> spread <\/span>skills<\/span> and <\/span>competences<\/span> of<\/span> creative and <\/span>critical<\/span> thinking<\/span> as a <\/span>means<\/span> to<\/span> better<\/span> take<\/span> advantages<\/span> of<\/span> existing<\/span> skills<\/span> and <\/span>to<\/span> forge<\/span> them<\/span> to<\/span> cover<\/span> the<\/span> lack<\/span> of<\/span> basic<\/span> skills<\/span> in <\/span>order<\/span> to<\/span> increase<\/span> youth<\/span> employability<\/span> and social <\/span>integration<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Methodology<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    The activities and methodology are designed to achieve the specific objectives of the project in order to improve the capacities of the direct target group and consequently have an impact on the indirect target group.\u202fThe main approach of the project is based on Non-Formal Education (NFE) methods. Through creativity and critical thinking as a methodology to convey field-based and experience-based transversal knowledge and skills, which will be employed in the context of both Training Courses (involving youth workers) the project aims to achieve a better long-lasting impact on the beneficiaries.\u202fThe main\u202fadvantage of non-formal education\u202fis its flexibility and ability to adapt to individual people’s current needs and the continual changes in society. It can support personal development, as well as improve an individual’s professional skills.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
