CB Start-Up \"Lighthouse\"<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project \u201cStart-up lighthouse\u201d aimed to create for 20 mont<\/span><\/span>hs 1 active network of 28 youth <\/span><\/span>workers, educators and creative change-makers from European and African youth non-profits, in<\/span><\/span>terested in <\/span><\/span>cultural heritage and rural development, NFE, social innovation and entrepreneurs<\/span><\/span>hip. At the end of the project, <\/span><\/span>they were able to guide local youngsters with concrete tools to turn abstract idea<\/span><\/span>s into cultural start-up, while <\/span><\/span>understanding why cultural change precedes social change and how cult<\/span><\/span>ural entrepreneurship model can <\/span><\/span>positivel<\/span><\/span>y transform local communities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Specific objectives<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

1: Increase the organisational capacity of 28 youth workers from 7 NGOs to offer customized learning experiences to youth people who intend to launch a cultural start-up, develop their entrepreneurial <\/span>mindset<\/span> and connected skills through: 3 TC and 3 sets of playing card activities about cultural entrepreneurship.  <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

2: Map and share info about the hotspots of 7 countries – cultural start-ups, entrepreneurship educational centres, funding opportunities for cultural start-ups, mentorship opportunities through 7 digital\/printed maps (7 languages).   <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

3: 1 awareness campaign \u201cDiscover your roots\u201d around cultural entrepreneurship as a solution to grow communities and connect youth with cultural heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n

APPROACH \/ METHODOLOGY<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

Implementation methodology:<\/span><\/b> aligned to the particularities of target groups identified through the need analysis and partner organisations and encouraged the valorisation of complementary expertise of the partners involved in the project. The proposed intervention was complex because it connected under the same project the different expertise of the partners and mentors which all have as a common goal the professional growth of youth through quality tools and educational interventions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Activity Description: The trainees got familiar with EE, cultural entrepreneurship and its relationship with youth and tested a selection of activities from the first pocket activities cards set that follows <\/span>EntreComp<\/span> framework. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

TC 2 \u201cThe incubator\u201d – <\/span><\/b>\u00c9tang-Sal\u00e9<\/span><\/b>, Reunion<\/span><\/b>– 15 – 23.11.2021 (7 working days+2 travel days)<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Activity Description: The workers explored the process of a creating a cultural start-up from idea to implementation starting from identified community needs. Before they could provide mentorship and guidance to the young people they were working with, first they had to understand the journey of creating a start-up. These prototypes were continued in the following training course. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
