The Activity was aimed at providing participants with a complementary backpack of knowledge, skills and methodologies to fight gender-based hate speech on new media, in a complementary approach building on the interrelation between gender-based hate speech and hate speech against migrant\/refugee categories (focus of the first SDA). During the activity, participants completed the design of the \u201cNo Hate Speech in the Digital Era\u201d Manual, by means of complementing its draft with knowledge and methodologies targeted at fighting gender-based hate speech on new media.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At the same time, the methodologies produced with regard to hate speech against migrants and refugees were reviewed\/integrated based on the knowledge and insights specific to the gender-dimension developed in the activity. Furthermore, the participants produced the final design of the \u201cSpeak for Inclusion!\u201d Social Campaign revising the draft produced in the first SDA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">More specifically, &#8220;New GenderAction&#8221; SDA was aimed at:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Complementing the process of methodological empowerment of participants by means of providing the latter with awareness, knowledge, skills and methodologies on contrasting gender-based hate speech on new media.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Developing participants\u2019 understanding and educational capacities to address the interconnectedness between gender-based hate speech and hate speech against migrant and refugee categories.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Producing a comprehensive methodological approach for youth organizations across the CoE area to contrast the dimensions of hate speech related to migrant\/refugee and gender discrimination through all-encompassing educational resources embracing the interconnectedness among the latter phenomena.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Designing an awareness-raising and educational effort grounded on new media action and direct youth education targeted at fostering awareness youth and stakeholders\u2019 awareness about no hate speech principles in the frame of gender and refugee issues, the interconnectedness among the latter frames and active engagement in contrasting hate speech phenomena in a comprehensive fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Skill Development Activity \u201cNew GenderAction\u201dVenue: Varna, BulgariaDates: 20-25 July 2018 \u201cNew GenderAction\u201d was the second international Skills Development Activity (SDA) of MV International Work Plan 2018.
