{"id":12380,"date":"2015-04-16T23:25:33","date_gmt":"2015-04-16T23:25:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minevaganti.org\/?p=12380"},"modified":"2020-06-17T11:32:41","modified_gmt":"2020-06-17T11:32:41","slug":"ka1-youth-multiactivity-green-power-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/minevaganti.org\/en\/ka1-youth-multiactivity-green-power-2\/","title":{"rendered":"KA1 Youth &#8220;Green Power&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>KA1 Youth MultiActivity Green Power<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Green Power was a <strong>KA1 multiactivity project<\/strong> coordinated by MVNGO and composed of a Training Couse and a Youth Exchange.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Green Power involved a target of <strong>social workers, educators and environmental activists<\/strong> as a means to create a shared pattern wherein to <strong>pool knowledge and experiences<\/strong>, exchange <strong>good practices<\/strong> and usher in a <strong>network<\/strong> of Young people actively engaged in green issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project aimed at creating a civic awareness and a greater sensitivity to respect for the environment, working on issues such as:<br \/>\n\u2013 Dispersion of youth potential;<br \/>\n\u2013 Disinterest and misinformation regarding environmental issues;<br \/>\n\u2013 Youth emigration;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From an educational point of view, the following<strong> objectives<\/strong> were addressed:<br \/>\n\u2013 Encourage flows of knowledge between participants and experts who, through their skills, provided useful information and brought concrete examples of success.<br \/>\n\u2013 Increase young people\u2019s awareness of their fundamental role in rural areas. Emphasis was placed on how they should be the protagonists of the process of social transformation towards more sustainable and innovative models from an environmental and employment point of view.<br \/>\n\u2013 Enrich the knowledge on the environment and on its social relevance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The issue of <strong>environmental sustainability<\/strong> was addressed under the lens of the creation of new opportunities of <strong>employability and entrepreneurship<\/strong> for young people in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>two activities<\/strong> of the project were the following:<br \/>\n1. <strong>\u201cGreen Power\u201d Training Course<\/strong>. The Training Course was implemented in Tempio Pausania between 2 and 10 July 2015, with the involvement of youth workers from Italy, Austria, Greece, Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Spain and Croatia.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Youth exchange \u201cLet\u2019s live sustainable!\u201d<\/strong>.
