Higher Education

The activities of the MVNGO VET & HEI  Department include the hosting and professional development of incoming interns under different European and extra-European programmes, the development of project proposals and partnerships and the management of international mobility for internship projects targeted at High School students in the frame of Erasmus Plus VET in cooperation with European partners as well as the coordination of MVNGO’s activities in the field of Erasmus Plus Higher Education. MVNGO is one of the 3 Italian organizations managing an University conosrtium without being a HEI. Under the Higher Education chapter, MVNGO manages the “National Higher Education Consortium” as an approved follow-up of a previous NHEI Consortium for the period 2014-2017.

The Higher Education Consortium is coordinated by MVNGO with the membership of 8 Italian Universities (Università degli Studi di Sassari, Accademia Belle Arti Mario Sironi, Università di Cagliari, Università di Enna Kore, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata, Università di Foggia). The Consortium will run for the years 2017-2020 offering international mobilities for internships to up to 200 students from partner Universities per year.

Mine Vaganti NGO has been working in the field of VET since the former Leonardo programme, under whose frame MVNGO cooperated with the Municipality of Olbia, coordinating the Leonardo projects “Learn & Back” and “Learn & Back 2”.

MVNGO presently cooperates with several Italian high school institutions in the development of Erasmus Plus KA1 proposals in the field of VET. It is also a hosting and coordinating organisation for VET mobilities. In the aforementioned frame, Mine Vaganti NGO is also a hosting institution and intermediary organisation of KA1 VET projects.

The organization has performed the role of intern mobility coordinator in the frame of the successful Erasmus Plus KA1 VET project “TyFoonCat”. In the frame of the project, Mine Vaganti NGO coordinated the mobility of young students in the Sardinia Region on behalf of the partner educational institution “Istituto Tecnico Commerciale Salvatore Satta” of Nuoro.

Mine Vaganti NGO can count on a network of potential hosting enterprises across the Whole North Sardinia, which has allowed the organization to act as an intermediary for matching interns and potential hosting organizations, for which purposes MVNGO is used to organizing informational sessions targeted at young interns in its headquarter office of Sassari.

MVNGO works also in the field of staff and teacher mobility within VET, with several study visits organized wherein MVNGO staff has led interested school Teacher/Staff on field sessions in local educational institutions.
