The Adult & Training Division of Mine Vaganti NGO (MVNGO) is dedicated to fostering education, employability, and inclusion for adult learners. Specializing in training, project design, coordination, and partnerships, this division actively engages in Erasmus+ Adult Education programs and other initiatives at local, regional, national, and international levels.

Core Expertise

The division is led by distinguished professionals, including Roberto Solinas (President) and Maria Grazia Pirina (Vice President), who bring years of expertise in education and project management. The team excels in formal and non-formal education methods tailored to the needs of adults, utilizing coaching techniques to foster professional and motivational growth.

Key Achievements

MVNGO’s involvement in adult education dates back to 2012, starting with its participation in the Grundtvig program. Highlights include:

  • “Education and Sport for All”: A 2012 Training in Service program.
  • “Inclusive Methods on Foreign Language”: A Grundtvig Workshop in 2013.
  • Participation in Training in Service and Study Visits across Europe, including Slovenia, Greece, Portugal, Romania, and French Guyenne.

Local Initiatives

At the local level, MVNGO has collaborated with the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna to deliver impactful projects:

  • “Chance for a Change” and “Chance for a Change 2”: These initiatives focused on environmental sustainability as a pathway to employability and active participation, benefiting disadvantaged adult groups.

Addressing Social Inclusion and Employability

The division has taken significant steps to promote lifelong learning, integration, and employability among diverse adult learners, including:

  • Projects such as “CECIL”, which use circular economy education to support the social inclusion of women.
  • Efforts to up-skill and re-skill migrants through traditional craftsmanship, e-commerce platforms, and innovative tools, such as in the “Ethincraft”, “ASSETS”, and “SEA”
  • Special emphasis on supporting migrant women through initiatives like “EMPFRAU” and “STEP UP.”

Environmental Sustainability Initiatives

The division integrates sustainability into its work through projects like:

  • “BEE”: Promoting sustainable practices in the blue economy.
  • “AGRI-Smart”: Advocating climate-resilient farming.
  • “Bioislands”: Preserving biodiversity.
  • “Circular City”: Encouraging community participation in circular economies.

Lifelong Learning for Entrepreneurs

MVNGO also serves as a hosting entity in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program, welcoming emerging entrepreneurs from across Europe for development, exchange, and collaboration opportunities.
