TARGET GROUPs
The primary target group of the project is the adult foreign population residing in the consortium countries (Spain, Italy, and Lithuania). This is a diverse and dynamic group, comprising individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. The target group mainly includes adults aged 18 and over, with a wide range of ages represented.
The target audience is not limited to non-EU foreigners but also includes European adults residing in other EU countries who face similar socio-labor challenges. The adult foreign population includes legal residents, refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals with irregular migration status, each with their own specific needs and challenges.
PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES
- Promote Social Inclusion: Focused on adult individuals of foreign origin in EU member countries, particularly in Spain, Italy, and Lithuania. The project aims to create an inclusive environment that enables these individuals to participate actively in society and local communities.
- Enhance Employability: By developing a set of tools and resources, including a social integration guide and a course on European programs and opportunities related to education and employment. These resources will help participants acquire the necessary skills to access the European labor market.
- Strengthen Adult Education: The project aims to improve adult education, particularly for individuals of foreign origin. It will facilitate access to education and promote the development of key skills, such as proficiency in the local language and life skills necessary for daily living.
- Raise Awareness about Diversity and Inclusion: Through an online seminar, EURO-OPP will address the challenges and obstacles faced by individuals of foreign origin within European society. The seminar will analyze inclusion-related issues and promote solutions and best practices.
- International Mobility and Trainer Development: The project will facilitate an international mobility program in Italy to train adult educators working with individuals of foreign origin. These trainers will learn how to use the toolkit developed within the project to improve their students’ employability.
