Action: Training Course

Topic: 

Projects Sail4Sustainability aims to empower young people to make sustainable decisions and take action to protect our planet through sailing, providing them with a safe and fun learning environment. Through the project, young people will be enabled to acquire knowledge and skills about sustainability with the intention of becoming responsible managers of the environment. The project will deal with priorities in the field of sports, youth capacity building, environment and climate change, inclusion and diversity, and the fight against social and geographical barriers.

What will be done: 

A two-day “Sailing for Sustainability” training workshop will take place in the Netherlands, facilitated by Sailors for Sustainability. This pilot workshop will bring together four young participants, one coach, and one organizational representative from each partner country. It will serve as a valuable opportunity to launch the initiative, gain insights, make improvements, and prepare for future expansion.
