MVNGO is a partner organization in the Erasmus Plus KA2 Strategic Partnership project in the field of Youth ‘European Youth Health Champions’ coordinated by the organization from the UK “Street Games UK”. The international Consortium of partners is composed of 7 organizations from the UK (Royal Society for Public Health UK; Birmingham City Council UK), Denmark (International Sport and Culture Association), Belgium (Vlaams Instituut voor Sportbeheer en
Recreatiebeleid vzw), Bulgaria (BG BE ACTIVE), Malta (Aġenzija Żgħażagħ) and Italy (Mine Vaganti NGO).
The project will run for a total 24 months (April 2017 – March 2019).

Project objectives are:

1. To convert knowledge and experience from cross-sector stakeholders in youth peer education in health enhancing physical activity into learning resources that can be used transnationally by organisations in youth work, health, and community sport;

2.To create an online learning portal of project resources that is open and accessible for all;

3. To ensure that young people with fewer opportunities are integral to the design and testing of the resources;

3.To drive the impact of European Youth Health Champions by advocating and disseminating to policy stakeholders in each participating country and Europe-wide at local, regional, national, and European levels;

In achieving said objectives, partners will produce 3 intellectual outputs:
1. A robust evidence base proving that peer education is a successful method of promoting healthy lifestyles and boosting skills for young people with fewer opportunities. (Led by RSPH)
2. Innovative, highly interactive, and youth friendly online European Youth Health Champions learning materials and resources (Led by MVNGO)
3. European Youth Health Champions resources which will be available in an on-line portal that is open and free to use (Led by StreetGames)

High quality online learning portal which contains:
a) Internationalised modules for the European Youth Health Champions course
b) Interactive tool for young people to experience the content of the European Youth Health Champions course (MOOC)
c) Project summary report
d) Project full report
e) Research and evaluation report
f) RSPH UK specification for Level 1 and Level 2 Youth Health Champions (updated)
